Paul began his career in 1985 when he attended SAIT followed by further studies at the University of Calgary in 1987.  He soon became a Senior Surveyor and Senior Locator for Enviro-Tech Surveys in 1991 and professionally served them for 12 years.
 
Paul is currently serving his second consecutive two-year term as a director of the Canadian Association of Pipeline and Underground Locating Contractors (CAPULC).  Paul also sits on the CAPULC Standards Committee and believes the work completed to date has set an excellent foundation for moving CAPULC forward.
 
In addition, Paul is an ENFORM Certified Line Locating Instructor and teaches the Line Locating curriculum at ENFORM.  He is involved with the Alberta Damage Prevention Council (ADPC), is providing input to not only the NEB on the Proposed Damage Prevention Regulations but also to ENFORM on IRP 17 on behalf of CAPULC.
